Descripción: TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House es un proyecto de performatividad editorial cuyo objetivo se orienta hacia la publicación de ensayos y textos críticos sobre temas urgentes del debate cultural actual. Desde hace ya algunos años he dedicado mis esfuerzos estéticos a la edición de textos, ensayos, carteles y manifiestos con la idea de comentar públicamente los debates ineludibles del presente. Esta performatividad editorial adquiere ahora nombre -TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House- y toma forma de instalación -a settlement- para enfocar aún más mi interés en la publicación como herramienta para la articulación de discurso crítico.
En inglés la palabra TISSUE hace referencia a un fino pañuelo de papel que podríamos utilizar para secar, por ejemplo, nuestras lágrimas. El término ISSUE en inglés se refiere, por un lado, a un tema social de actualidad urgente que debe ser abordado críticamente con la intención de transformación y/o reparación; y por otro lado, al ejemplar editado de una revista o un libro. De tal manera que este proyecto se orienta hacia la producción de discurso sobre temáticas que, según mi parecer, requerirían ser reflexionados con atención, empatía y rigor crítico siempre con el objetivo último de transformar el actual statu quo.
La instalación TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House Settlement, 2023 plantea una escena de participación en la que el encuentro imaginativo, el diálogo y los textos ocupan un lugar protagonista.

TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House is an editorial performativity project whose goal is oriented towards the publication of essays and critical texts on urgent issues of the current cultural debate. For some years now, I have devoted my aesthetical efforts to editing texts, essays, posters, manifestos, and flyers with the idea of publicly commenting on the unavoidable debates of the present. This editorial performativity now acquires a name -TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House- and takes the form of an installative experience -a settlement- to focus my interest in publishing as an effective tool for the articulation of critical discourse.
In English, the word TISSUE refers to a thin paper that we could use to dry our tears, for example. The term ISSUE in English refers, on the one hand, to an urgent current social issue that must be critically addressed, and on the other hand, to the edited copy of a magazine or book. In such a way that this installation and editorial project is oriented towards the production of discourse on themes that, in my opinion, require careful reflection, empathy, and critical rigor always pointing out towards a transformation of the current statu quo.
The installation TISSUE & ISSUE Publishing House Settlement, 2023 presents a participatory scene in which imaginative encounter, dialogue and texts occupy a pivotal place.
